Microsoft 365 Copilot is the AI assistant in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, using your work data. The Microsoft 365 Copilot Business add-on costs from SEK 200.70 per user/month with annual billing, excluding VAT, on Microsoft’s price list dated 26 October 2026. Microsoft calls the add-on Microsoft 365 Copilot Business in English and Microsoft 365 Copilot för företag on its Swedish page.

Advanced features such as Copilot Cowork, Code, Autopilot and Work IQ APIs are billed by usage with Copilot credits. Included features remain part of the licence. Admins control spend under Cost management in the Microsoft 365 admin center (Microsoft’s Swedish business FAQ, 26 October 2026).

Agents, Copilot Studio and Agent 365

Copilot covers internal agents in Microsoft 365 through Agent Builder and Copilot Studio. External channels and users without a Copilot licence require standalone Copilot Studio. Agent 365 governs and secures agents: SEK 143.40 per user/month with annual billing, excluding VAT, on the price list dated 26 October 2026; included in E7.

What does Microsoft 365 Copilot cost?

According to Microsoft’s price list, 26 October 2026, Microsoft 365 Copilot Business costs SEK 200.70 per user per month with annual billing (SEK 240.84 with a monthly subscription). The campaign price for existing customers is SEK 172.03 for the first year with an annual commitment, 1 July–31 December 2026. The Enterprise add-on costs SEK 286.80 paid annually or SEK 301.14 paid monthly with an annual commitment. Prices exclude VAT. A qualifying base subscription is required.

Which licence do you need?

Copilot Business is an add-on for Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard or Premium. The Enterprise add-on requires a qualifying subscription, such as E3 or E5. Business Standard and Premium are also available with Copilot. E7 includes E5, Copilot, Agent 365 and Entra Suite.

What is the difference between Copilot Chat and Microsoft 365 Copilot?

Copilot Chat provides web-grounded AI chat with enterprise data protection and file uploads with limits, at no extra cost for qualifying users. Agents are billed by consumption. Microsoft 365 Copilot adds work data through Microsoft Graph and Work IQ, Copilot in Microsoft 365 apps, prebuilt agents and usage analytics.

Is our data safe with Copilot?

Copilot respects the user’s existing permissions. Prompts and responses stay within the Microsoft 365 service boundary and are not used to train the underlying models. Oversharing can still expose sensitive material. That is why we start with permissions, sharing and protection in Purview.
